Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performances weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
