Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of class A2 driving licences can now access a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be brought to life. With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current class A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on one side are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
