Mechanical 35 kW restrictors for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 licence holders can now access a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the series production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
