Mechanical 35 kW restrictor kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, which are waiting to be brought to life. With alpha Technik's restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal requirements such as emission, noise, and power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.
