Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 licence holders are now restricted to a maximum of 35 kW, which they will want to bring to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be reduced to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into developing the power, performance reduction. Key factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
