Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 4 motorcycles:With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and the double output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogenous power, performance delivery.
From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for the new Euro 4 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable technology at the highest level at an affordable price.
The latest version makes restriction for vehicles with "Ride by wire" even simpler, faster, and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reduced to 35 kW with absolute operational safety without the previously used additional restriction plates (*).
The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct ratio of gas and air at all times.
The redundancy required by law is, of course, met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the rotation angle on the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 4 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle valves, the additional restriction plates remain an indispensable component for the correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle valves.
