General Description
Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:
Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW that wants to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the aim is to maintain the optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
