Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence category A2 are now awaiting a maximum of 35 kW, which want to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycles, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence category A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Much expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, there are legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as much as possible.
