Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, owners of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, ready to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance to weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as far as possible unchanged.
