Mechanical 35 kW restrictor kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of category A2 driving licences can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik's restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current category A2 driving licence. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as emission, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the aim is to maintain optimal rideability and homogenous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
