Mechanical 35 kW restriction kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power reduction. Key factors must be considered: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust gas, noise, and power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.
