Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 driving licence holders can now access a maximum of 35 kW, which are waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
