Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of category A2 licences are now awaiting a maximum of 35 kW, ready to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current category A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
