Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of a Category A2 driving licence can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW that they want to bring to life. With the restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current Category A2 driving licence. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as emissions, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
