Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 driving licence holders can now access a maximum of 35 kW, waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and twice the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance restriction. Key factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as emission, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
