Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 driving licence holders can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development.
