General Description

Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 4 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and twice the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise is invested in the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as emissions, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for the new Euro 4 vehicles according to currently valid directives. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable, high-level technology at an affordable price.

The latest version makes restriction for “ride by wire” vehicles even easier, faster, and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reliably restricted to 35 kW without the previously used additional throttle plates (*).
The newly developed control technology of the modules always ensures the correct ratio of gas and air.

The redundancy required by law is naturally met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate brackettion of the twist angle on the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 4 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional throttle plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle valves.
