Mechanical 35 kW restriction kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 motorcycle licence holders can now enjoy a maximum of 35 kW. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 motorcycle licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
A great deal of expertise goes into developing power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side is the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as unchanged as possible.
