General Description

Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:
Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of class A2 driving licences can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW to be brought to life. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current class A2 driving licence. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive know-how goes into the development of power reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power delivery as unchanged as possible.
