Mechanical 35 kW restriction kits for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, A2 licence holders are now restricted to a maximum of 35 kW, which they will want to unleash. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.
Much expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side is the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
