On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With throttle kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a technical report is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is considerable, which is not always apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous throttle restrictors and throttle travel limiters.

25 kW throttle restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW throttle kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 licence. All 25 kW throttle restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed throttle restrictors in the intake tract, or with throttle travel limiters.
