Proudly holding your A2 motorcycle driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small hitch: the standard power, performance for the tiered driving licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought down to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
When all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stop limiters.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance came into force in spring 2013, novice drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. alpha Technik offers due to its extensive product range also today numerous 25 kW restrictor kits, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence.
