With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance restriction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side is the goal of maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
