Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power, performance for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance restrictor kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance to weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power, performance of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into developing the power, performance restrictor. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restriction Kits:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 licence. All 25 kW restrictors work mechanically; no electronic intervention is required. The power, performance restriction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
