Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power is too high for the graduated licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, the development and measurement effort is considerable, which isn't immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictors operate mechanically; no electronic interventions are necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
