Proudly holding your motorcycle driving licence A2, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small hitch: the standard power for the staged driving licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances power reduction kits, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performances power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power reduction kits. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances power delivery.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it involves a high level of development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new driving licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictors work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. Power reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake manifold, or with throttle stops.
