Slight catch: the standard power output is too high for the staged driving licence. Dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality! With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded. A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal ridability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a considerable development and metrological effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes unassuming restrictor plates and throttle stops. 25 kW Restrictions: Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
