Proudly holding the motorcycle licence A2, having seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine MUST be it! Small catch: the standard power, performance for the staged licence is too high. Is it all just a dream? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With restrictor kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power, performance of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, there are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, there is a high level of development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restrictor kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictors function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
