Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, spotted the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Slight hitch: the standard power for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream instantly becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances development.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high level of development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
