Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, having seen your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! One small hitch: the standard power output for the graduated licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorbikes of all power, performances classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be reduced to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Key factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, there are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery. Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it involves extensive development and measurement efforts, which are not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous throttle restrictors and throttle stop limiters.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence ordinance came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
