Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, spotted your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for a tiered licence. Dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With restriction kits from alpha Technik, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performances restriction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, there is a significant development and measurement effort involved, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary.
