Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the tiered licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high level of development and measurement effort that isn't immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed throttle plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
