Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power is too high for a graduated driving licence. Is it just a dream? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance restriction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance restriction kits. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one hand, there are legal regulations such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, there is the goal of maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, a high level of development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary.
