Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine has to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated driving licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into developing power, performance reduction kits. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible. Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, a significant development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes unassuming restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
