Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power, performance for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

alpha Technik restriction kits make motorcycles of all power, performance classes more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power, performance of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
If all requirements are met, a part certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high level of development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance, which came into force in spring 2013, novice riders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restrictor plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
