Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be it! Small catch: the standard power output for the staged driving licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, for holders of the current A2 driving licence class, special conditions apply. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of the power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, legal regulations such as emissions, noise and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal ridability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, there is a high level of development and measurement effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle travel limiters.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new drivers had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. All 25 kW restrictors work by mechanical means; no intervention in the electronics is necessary.
