Proudly holding your A2 motorcycle driving licence, you've spotted your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for a graduated driving licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing to motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performances reductions. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it involves considerable development and measurement efforts, which are not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
