Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard power output for the staged licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
When all requirements are met, a component certificate (Teilegutachten) is issued by the technical service. Until then, a high level of development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle restrictors.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence ordinance came into force in spring 2013, new drivers with 25 kW had to manage for 2 years. Due to its large assortment, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions function mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle restrictors.
