With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, statutory regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.
If all requirements are met, a technical report will be drawn up by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and metrological effort that is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
