Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen the dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the series power for the staged driving licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorbikes of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered here: on the one hand, statutory regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development, as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a considerable development and metrological effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, new driving licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its wide range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by holders of the A2 driving licence. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction occurs through the installation of specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
