Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you’ve seen your dream motorbike at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for the stepped licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorbikes of all power, performances classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performances reductions. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust emissions, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the greatest possible preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery. Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
