Proudly holding the motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this is the machine you MUST have! Small hitch: the standard power output is too high for a staged licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as far as possible. Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, significant development and measurement effort is required, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions operate mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or by using throttle stops.
