Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power output is too high for a graduated licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality! With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, for holders of the current driving licence class A2, special conditions apply. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded. A lot of know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous throttle plates and throttle stops. 25 kW restrictions: Before the new driving licence ordinance, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years.
