Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine HAS to be yours! Small hitch: the standard power output is too high for your staged licence. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performances reductions, your motorcycle dream instantly becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performances weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into developing power, performances reductions. Key factors must be considered: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performances delivery as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, significant development and measurement efforts are involved, which are not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous intake restrictors and throttle restrictors.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. The power, performances reduction is achieved by installing specially designed intake restrictors in the intake manifold, or with throttle restrictors.
