Proudly holding the A2 motorcycle driving licence, having spotted the dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the series power, performance for the staged driving licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing to the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it's a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, novice drivers had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can consequently be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no electronic intervention is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake manifold or with throttle stops.
