Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard power for the graduated driving licence is too high. Dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reduction kits, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as far as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a technical service issues a parts certificate. Until then, it involves extensive development and measurement efforts, which are not immediately apparent in the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to make do with 25 kW for 2 years. alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today due to its large product range, which can therefore be used by A2 licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no electronic intervention is required. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract, or with throttle stops.
