On the contrary, because with alpha Technik power, performance restriction kits, your motorcycle dream instantly becomes reality! With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded. A lot of know-how goes into the development of the power, performance restriction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on the one hand, there are legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible. If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a significant development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops. 25 kW restrictions: Before the new driving licence regulation, which came into force in spring 2013, novice riders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
