Proudly holding your A2 motorcycle licence, spotted your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor – this machine MUST be yours! Small catch: the standard output for the staged licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance restrictions, your motorcycle dream immediately becomes a reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost every desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of know-how goes into the development of power, performance restriction. Essential factors must be considered here: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the largely unchanged preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery.
If all requirements are met, a parts certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is an extensive development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the seemingly inconspicuous restrictor plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new Driving Licence Ordinance, which came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years.
