Proudly holding your motorcycle A2 driving licence, you've seen your dream motorcycle at the dealer, distributor - this machine HAS to be yours! Small catch: the standard output for the graduated licence is too high. Is the dream over? On the contrary, with alpha Technik power, performance reductions, the motorcycle dream immediately becomes reality!

With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be adjusted to the required power, performance of 25 kW or 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the standard vehicle must not be exceeded.

A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Here, essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal regulations, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance development as unchanged as possible.
Once all requirements are met, a component certificate is issued by the technical service. Until then, it is a high development and measurement effort, which is not immediately apparent from the sometimes inconspicuous restriction plates and throttle stops.

25 kW Restrictions:
Before the new driving licence regulation came into force in spring 2013, new licence holders had to manage with 25 kW for 2 years. Due to its extensive product range, alpha Technik still offers numerous 25 kW restriction kits today, which can therefore be used by A2 driving licence holders. All 25 kW restrictions work mechanically; no intervention in the electronics is necessary. The power, performance reduction is achieved by installing specially designed restriction plates in the intake tract or with throttle stops.
