For newer Euro 4 vehicles, the gas injection is additionally influenced to avoid negatively affecting exhaust emissions and the associated fuel consumption. This is achieved by installing a CDI unit tailored to the respective vehicle. Connecting the restriction boxes is lightning-fast for most vehicles, as the plug connections are already pre-prepared. Only with older electronic conversions involving additional electronics are a few cable connections required.

Fundamentally, with every restriction - whether mechanical or electronic - care is taken to keep the installation effort and necessary modifications to the vehicle as minimal as possible.
